HOW THE COURSE WORKS

The course can be accessed from any computer as no data is held on your hard drive.

The learner will be allocated a Tutor who will be available to assist via email.

A lesson consists of sections. This means the learner can spend as much or as little time as they have available. The learner can return to the lesson as many times as they wish. It is necessary for the learner to access every page of the course.

There are tests at the end of each lesson. The learner has to answer all the questions in the test correctly. They can have up to 10 attempts on each test. If they still cannot obtain 100% mark they will be directed to their course tutor. The learner is given immediate feedback on the results of the interim tests. The idea of these tests is to reinforce learning.

On completion of all the lessons there is a Final Examination. During this examination the learner is locked out of the course content. A pass mark of 85% or higher must be achieved. If it is not and the learner has achieved a score of more than 80% (and the course is still valid) the learner may apply to retake the examination by contacting their course tutor who will reset the examination for them.

A score of 95% or higher will be classed as a distinction. On successful completion of the examination the learner will be sent a certificate signed by Mike Turner Association Director of the Digital and Screen Printing Association UK and Peter Kiddell, the course author.
