Over the years PDS Consulting have played a key part in developing qualifications for the screen and pad printing industry. We would be happy to advise you on the options open to your company and your staff. It may be that the options available to you do not fit precisely into your requirements, in which case we can advise on alternatives. You may wish to have your own in-house qualifications to suit your needs. Designing and delivering such structures are part of the services we can offer. The available work based qualifications are detailed below.

PRINTING QUALIFICATIONS

The recognised work based qualifications in the screen and pad printing industry are:

  • National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland
    or Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) in Scotland
  • Modern Apprenticeships (MA)

PDS Consulting in association with the SPA UK Limited, run the City & Guilds registered centre “SPA Print Qualification Centre”, No. 038649. The centre is accredited by City and Guilds to deliver printing NVQs and by the Print & Graphic Communications National Training Organisation (PGC NTO) to deliver Modern Apprenticeships.

Our staff are fully qualified Internal Assessors (D32/D33), Internal Verifiers (D34) and qualified, expert trainers (TDLB Level 4) in screen printing and pad printing. A team member is experienced as a City & Guilds External Verifier (D35) for printing NVQs. This level of expertise cannot be found in any other organisation.
